Northeast Columbia is located in Richland County and is part of the city of Columbia which is the largest city in South Carolina with 133,358 residents on 132.2 square miles of land. In 1786 Columbia was created as the new state capitol. It wasn’t until 1854 that it was incorporated as a city.
Northeast Columbia is in the Richland County School District, which is an award winning district. It is also an area with a number of beautiful parks as well as an indoor sports complex, tennis center and golf courses.
